‘Another beautifully crafted bundle of acoustic joy,’ - that’s what Ashley Morgan says over on the Big Arena Records website about my fifth podcast in this lead up to the release of the Enormous album Electric Baby Grand.
I’m flattered, and I’m certainly not going to argue with a man of such discerning taste.
This week, I’m singing I Tried Everything, a song that makes me cry like a girl, especially if I’ve had too much to drink. ‘Shaddap, everybody! Listen . . . hic! Thish song’s about me.’
Best not listen to this one in the nude, by the way - we don’t want any accidents, do we.

Nap, that song always made me so sad. I asked Mr B about it and he wasn’t really sure where it came from but we guessed it was something like what you describe. So sad and so beautiful.
