Napoleon Solo / May 2 2008

Episode 2 of the Big Arena Records weekly podcast is now online. This is the second one featuring yours truly, alone in the studio with my trusty acoustic.

I’m singing another song from the Enormous album Electric Baby Grand, a slightly less mettlesome track this time – a ballad, in fact: Things I Can’t Forget.

It is such a sad song . . . I had a little cry after I’d finished he podcast, but felt much better after I spent an hour in the bathroom pampering myself and whistling the national anthem.

(It isn’t a completely solo performance, by the way. Towards the end of the recording, a hairy little dog called Audrey can be heard outside in the garden barking at a cat.)

Yee ha, another gem of Enormity and guest vox by Audrey. You are a true genius, muscially anyway.

Thanks, Nelson. I think.

I loved this one Napoleon. And a Meg who visited my blog yesterday wants to know if any of the band members are single.

I’m single and I’m sort of in the band.

Great podcast! You have a great voice :) As does that gorgeous Miss Audrey.
Just while we’re on the subject, I am now single also. And I’ve learnt to make tea.

Hey, thanks, Des.
I don’t think I have a great voice. You probably do. I just wish mine was a lot bigger. Still, - at the risk of sounding clichéd - it isn’t how big it is, it’s what you do with it that counts, isn’t it.
I have teabags. Earl Grey.
