Flash Fantastic / September 28 2007

Last night I dreamed I was running around the market place in my bare feet and startling passers-by by flashing my private parts at them. My favourite Crombie overcoat and a big grin were the only things I was wearing . . . and I was having a marvellous time.

However, I do recall feeling slightly frustrated by the reactions of one or two of the local women. Some were pointing at me and laughing in high-pitched, synthetic voices like robots, while others seemed completely oblivious to my antics or to not even notice my presence at all.

I have no idea why this would be so - why certain female members of the parish would find the sudden appearance of my liberated genitalia so funny. I consider it to be something of a profound spiritual conundrum, the details and ultimate meaning of which I shall no doubt waste valuable hours today trying to analyse. I must, however, remember to remain calm and pensive; I must control my rampant physical urges and approach the problem from a mature and objective cerebral perspective. I must not allow myself to become overexcited - something I am prone to do when thinking about being naked in front of strangers.

Overall, I cannot deny that there was something very compelling in the circumstances of my dream and, as a pleasant bonus, I awoke this morning feeling very refreshed and inspired.
