Nelson Galaxy’s acoustic album is now finished and will be on sale on the Big Arena Records label in October. Full details on the release will be available later.
In the meantime, you can hop over to Nelson’s MySpace site for a sneak preview and be one of the first people in the entire universe to listen to the stunning new versions of the dark and brooding Two Minutes, and the pathos and effervescent passion and playfulness of This Stupid World.
There is a very fresh and intimate feel to all of the acoustic tracks that Nelson recorded (with yours truly at the production helm) in the Big Arena studios during three separate drug and booze-fuelled evenings earlier this year.
The man himself is coming up from London next week to begin pre-production on his full electric album which is pencilled for a Christmas or New Year release. I fully expect him to tempt me into drinking too much when we visit the cosy hostelries of the village while he is here. And, consequently, you can rest assured that any jolly japes that we get up to will be dutifully reported here in all their debauched glory.
