Slaughterhouse 5 News! / September 21 2006
I’ve just heard from the chaps over at Sh5 towers. (I’m becoming quite an authority on them.) I was asking if they planned on reforming and playing some shows seeing as how they have a new single on Big Arena Records – You Only Need Me, and a 3cd compilation Best-Of album due out shortly (The Ugliest Man In The World).
Well, as it turns out, Graham Boffey, their small but perfectly-formed powerhouse of a drummer informs me that his and Davy Lawrence’s band Enormous are planning some gigs in the UK and 2 or 3 Slaughterhouse 5 songs will be in their new set as a kinda sorta tribute to the old days. Good news eh, Sh5 fans?! I’ll try to find out which songs they will be and get back to you all.
But in the meantime, why don’t you dig out your old copies of Wide Open and give that thing a spin. Tip: play it LOUD. Nap.X
